The easiest hamburger buns
Ingredients for 8 hamburger buns
540 g flour (4 and 1/3 cups)
150 ml water (1/2 and 1/8 cups)
150 ml milk (1/2 and 1/8 cups)
40 g butter (1/4 cup)
10 g salt (1 teaspoon)
20 g sugar (1 tablespoon)
25 g yeast
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 egg to spread
Preparation:
1.- Put the flour in a bowl, add the salt and sugar and
mix. Add the water, milk and crumbled yeast. Add the butter and mix until all the ingredients
are combined.
2.- Knead for 10 minutes and let it rest, covered, for an hour and a half or until it doubles in volume.
3.- Divide the dough into 8 pieces and form balls.
Place the four balls on a baking tray covered with baking paper. Knead lightly and let it rest covered until it doubles in size again (about 30 minutes).
4.- Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
5.- Bake in a preheated oven at 220° C - 428° F with top and bottom heat for 20 minutes.
