Chocolate Corner Cake Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Once melted, remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Slowly add the melted butter and stir until combined. - Sift cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt into wet ingredients. Mix until combined - do not overmix.
- Gently fold in semisweet and white chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let brownies cool in pan before cutting into squares.
