Espresso blondies

take the best parts of a brownie and a chocolate chip cookie and combine them into one incredibly delicious bar with a coffee twist. They are soft on the inside, chewy on the outside like a brownie, but have an incredible chocolate chip cookie flavor.

Ingredients
1 stick butter 4 ounces (113 grams) browned
1 cup brown sugar 4 ounces (160 grams) unpacked
1 large egg
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract optional
1 cup all-purpose flour 4 ounces (120 grams)
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1 cup chocolate chips 4 ounces (180 grams)
1/2 cup toffee bits optional these will add a sweeter, butterscotch flavor, 2 ounces (65 grams)
2 teaspoons espresso powder or instant espresso.
